It is still way too hot for my liking here in Kansas, and more than any other time of year, I am yearning for the brisk but beautiful fall weather in Boston. Autumn always reminds me of New England, not just for the many reruns of Gilmore Girls I have been indulging in lately, but because that was when I would return to college each year, not that long ago (wait…it’s been almost a decade?!). I went for my Bachelors in the Boston area in the late 2000s and while I am incredibly happy where I am in my life, I still get a pang of nostalgia when I hear a particular song or feel that autumn chill (if it would finally get here!).
